Illustrative example; names and events are fictional. Lena runs a small wealth team and reads the morning edition before her first client meeting. It covers a central bank's unexpected guidance and a new sanctions package, with the context behind each. Two weeks later, a client asks why the team trimmed a bond position that week. Lena opens the edition from that morning and sends the client its dated link. The client sees what was being reported on that day, not a summary written afterwards. The brief informed the discussion; the decision stayed with the team and the client.
