The application is examined, then published, and the clock starts. Count from the filing date and you are early; count from registration and you are late.

Here the mark goes on the register and then the opposition window opens. Seeing “registered” does not mean you have missed it. Applying the EU’s rule to one of these does not shift a deadline — it invents one that never existed.
