Data sources.
Where every fact we show comes from.

Antevo Trademark is built on public trademark registers and an open dataset of company identities. Each is listed here with its terms, the credit it asks for, and what we changed. Our own work — the matching, the similarity scores, the read on how a holder files, the opposition windows — sits on top of them and is ours.

Company identity

PermID — who is behind a filing.

Where a trademark holder matches a company in PermID, we show that company’s organisation name, its headquarters country, its PermID number and, where there is one, the link to a parent entity.

Entity data: PermID © LSEG, licensed under CC BY 4.0.

What we changed: PermID knows nothing about trademarks. Antevo matches its entities to trademark holders by name, normalising the names to make the match. The match is our work, not LSEG’s, and it can be wrong. Otherwise we show the fields as PermID publishes them.

LSEG does not sponsor or endorse Antevo. Wherever our API or our assistant tools pass this data on, the same credit goes with it.

Trademark registers

The register record, from the offices that publish it.

Every filing, holder name, class, status and date comes from the public register of the office that published it. Where a record links to its office, the office’s own register is the authoritative version.

EU trade marks. Source: EUIPO. This data is freely available at euipo.europa.eu. We read it from EUIPO’s public search and keep a copy to screen against. Antevo Trademark is not an official EUIPO publication.

Offices we reach through TMview. For many national and regional offices we read the summary record from TMview, the trademark search run by EUIPO with the offices that take part. Each record remains the data of the office that published it.

Offices we read directly. Where an office publishes its register data openly, we read it there:

What we changed: we put every office’s records into one format — names cleaned for matching, dates and classes in one shape — and score them for similarity. The scores, the grouping of a holder’s filings and the read on how they file are ours, not the offices’.

Legal Entity Identifiers

GLEIF — the LEI.

Where we show a company’s LEI, it comes from the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (gleif.org). GLEIF publishes LEI data under CC0 1.0: no credit is required, and we give it anyway.

Investigations

Deep dives, cited to the open web.

An investigation is written by an AI model from public web pages, and each claim is cited to the page it came from. Those pages remain their publishers’. A dossier is research to check, not a register fact.

The fine print

Intelligence, not legal advice.

The terms on this page were last checked on 17 October 2026. Registers can lag their offices, and a match between a holder and a company can be wrong. Your counsel confirms anything you act on.

If you hold rights in any data listed here and its credit is wrong or missing, write to contact@antevo.ch and we will correct it.
